On OS X, you can now start VW at the command line easily enough.  I
use a shell script, just like I do on Linux.

This the third time I get this response to my problems, but it is of
little help.
On the Mac there seems to be no straight-forward way to make a shell
script the default action for double-click on a .im file.

Or are you suggesting I change my work flow (which works fine on other
platforms)?

Hi Reinout,

you may try Platypus:
http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/12046/platypus it creates an
application for a script... i guess that should do that trick.

Kind Regards
Karsten

I'm not suggesting you change anything; it was merely a suggestion
based on what works for me :)
