I've now published PNGWriter and Compression-ZLibWrite to the public
repository. Both are free for anyone to use or modify. Having done this,
I now notice that John actually published his original code the same day
as the above message. My changes include being able to save OpaqueImages
as PNGs with an alpha channel, and correcting the bug in ZLibWriteStream
that made around 1.3% of saved PNGs unreadable (use the package
Compression-ZLibWrite, not John's ZLibInterface).

Many thanks to John, who did all the real work, and my apologies for not
noticing that at least the original version was there - I've not used
Store Replication much, and expected the normal warning if I was
publishing a package that already existed but with no link to my image.

Steve
