Roassal Tip #3: Labelling any Roassal element

abergel
A new tip online:

https://www.facebook.com/ObjectProfile/photos/a.341189379300999.82969.340543479365589/620967164656551/?type=1&theater

We kind of like this idea of having Roassal tips posted in this list. I hope you will enjoy them. If this is the case, use the like button :-)
If you have some topics you would like to see us talk about, feel free to make suggestions.

Cheers,
Alexandre

Maybe stackoverflow or some kinda of wiki would be better . Facebook is kinda sucky for these things and emails get lost, except nabble.

As a meta-comment: the entire documentation of Roassal could be hugely improved, in my opinion. Too many classes don’t have a comment, and this is the ideal place where you can place an example of use. Doing that would be a HUGE help, instead of the different examples spread out over multiple browsers and in mailing lists and in facebook.

I’m looking at Roassal2 now and I cannot find may way anymore … and this is from the guy who won the prize last year ...

Indeed. The Roassal chapters are already well obsolete.
2014 will be the year of documenting Roassal.
We are just emerging from the phase of shaping Roassal. Roassal2 is now quite stable, thus we will enter the documentation phase.

Indeed, what you have done with Roassal2 is pretty cool. Documentation can wait for now especially given that you have extensive examples. Just go.
