Roassal plugins

Hi!

I am experimenting something. There are several Roassal contributions around, and I try to make them easily accessible. I have designed a very simple plugin system, accessible within the world menu:

Does this make sense?

Maybe we could have DynaCase accessible here

Well that is not a mere Roassal plugin, but an independent application... plus it's not really in a production-ready state.

I can revisit it later, but I don't think it would make much sense, considering just by loading Roassal you would be loading ton of other unrelated packges which will even more increase the overall size...

Also what I spoke with GT guys there is an idea of visual editors... however dynacase is not ready for either.

... in fact it would might make sense to make all builders as plugins, so one can load just the core Roassal without all the builders.

Aha,

it runs Gofer... I thought it was packaged with Roassal, so I take part of what I said back.

That said, it seems like an interesting idea to connect with Catalog Browser; that people could mark their package as Roassal plugin and you easily install it from there also (so people can themselves decide whether it makes sense or not).

But that's for discussion between you and Catalog Browser authors...

Yes!
For large builder, probably we will need them as a plugin. However, I do not see a need for refactoring this part of the system. Roassal is large, but perfectly manageable.

Yes, I have also thought about that. Ideally, having it connected with the catalogue would be great. One step at the time...
