Is there anyone who can give a dummy like me a short recipe to start the Roassal examples as shown in the video  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OpzoPOdLMMY?

I tried to start Roassal2 on Visualworks 8.0 as shown in the video.
I choosed the newest version 2.21. When it ask for loading cairo, I coosed the newest Version 7.9 - 12.
When opening the example2015 as shown in the video, the system answers an "unhandled exception: Message not understood: #nsBitmap".

Okay!

Something that may be key here, is to make sure you install Cairo when you install VW.

You have to choose "customized installation” for this.

The TRApplicationModel works but that’s about it.

Notice that you might need the additional extra Cairo fix (if you see nothing in a Cairo View), in my work I needed to this of from 8.0 It basically works like an extra initiator.

When pre loading RBSUnitExtension (8.0 - 5) parcel as proposed at the cincom page, an "unhandled exception: Message not understood: #invalidateIntrinsicContentSize" occurs as soon I try to open a System browser.

Which map example are you referring to? RTMapBuilder? We have no problem on our machines (a windows and a mac). 

Will you be at the Camp Smalltalk?
