It depends upon where you have the biggest performance problem
....
In general if the commit rate you are experiencing is not as
quick as you'd like and you are seeing lots of io waits on the
file system hosting your tranlogs, then the SSD should help.
OTOH, if you data base is larger than your SPC and you are seeing
lots io waits on the file system hosting your extents, then it is
likely that and SSD would help.
