'Screen allScreens' on mac with X11

Karsten Kusche
hi,

i just ran VisualWorks with my second monitor attached and noticed, that
'Screen allScreens' returns only one screen. This makes all windows that
open in the middle of the screen appear right on the cap between both of
my monitors. as the cinema display stands a bit higher than the
powerbook's display and on the right side of it, the top-left corner of
the window is not even visible.
is there a fix for this available? or is that normal behavior on x11?

Kind Regards
Karsten

RE: 'Screen allScreens' on mac with X11

Boris Popov, DeepCove Labs (SNN)
On windows it also returns one screen, but it has 2 subregions,

boundingBox: 0@0 corner: 3200@1200
subRegions: #(0@0 corner: 1920@1200 1920@0 corner: 3200@1024)

and windows seem to know which subregion their parent is in and open
accordingly, but I haven't had a chance to see where that bit of magic
happens.

Hope this helps,

-Boris
