Re: Scripty2

Looks interesting, just learned about it.

It will be certainly easy to support. The only missing thing to do is
to split the Prototype code out of the Scriptaculous package.

I hope not just for 2.9 or faster 2.9 stable release :-)

Re: Scripty2

I split the code so that the Prototype functionality is separate from
the scriptaculous code.

    Name: Prototype-Core-lr.1
    Author: lr
    Time: 29 June 2009, 3:45:31 pm
    UUID: e6c3e987-bdbd-47e0-a1a4-171683dafade
    Ancestors:

    - split all prototype code into separate package, needs some
addional testing and cleanup

    Name: Prototype-Tests-Core-lr.1
    Author: lr

Now I need testers. People that check if the Prototype package works
without the Scriptaculous one. People that check if there are things
missing or wrongly packaged in either of the two packages. Furthermore
it would be cool to have some demos and independent tests for the new
Prototype package.

We do bug-fixes in 2.8, but no new functionality. To speed up 2.9 we
need testers and feedback. Several alpha releases are out, but we got
almost no feedback. Seaside 2.9 works very well for us (I am using it
in industrial settings for a long time already), but to get towards a
release we need more confidence ...
