Hi Seaside users,
We have released Seaside 3.1.3 [1]. A big thanks to everyone involved for making this release happen! best regards, The Seaside Team _______________________________________________ seaside mailing list [hidden email] http://lists.squeakfoundation.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/seaside |
Does anyone know where I can find Seaside release notes these days? I
want to know about 3.1.2 and 3.1.3. Thanks. Hello, Congratulations for your team. But I feel there is a lack of information availability besides those which Chris named. Installations instructions?Download links? Which Smalltalk dialects were updated or tested?2014-09-09 15:48 GMT-03:00 Johan Brichau <[hidden email]>:

Hello Hernan,
Mind that you are replying to a mail from over a year ago :) In the meantime, since google code has basically closed down, we had also announced the move of the wiki to github [1]. We are aware that the Seaside website warrants updating. A 3.2 release is also imminent. Johan

BTW, WAImageStatus>>#renderContentOn: does a "Smalltalk size" which Squeak does not support. We could make it support that, unless you think it should be in a Grease extension, or, something else? If you wish, I would be happy to help with any testing for the Squeak platform. _______________________________________________ seaside mailing list [hidden email] http://lists.squeakfoundation.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/seaside |
Hi Chris,
That is very good to hear. Please join the Seaside development mailinglist in that case. That’s where we inform about the current development and where I usually call out for help when I see the Squeak build is failing. Don’t forget to coordinate with Tobias on that, as he is often taking care of some Squeak-specific issues. The Ajax file uploads are in Seaside 3.2 (there is a test case in the jQuery package to demonstrate it). I’m not sure about WAImageStatus. I think there are already platform-specific packages for Web-Dev-Tools, so creating a specific Squeak package for the Web-Dev-Tools would be the way to go. That’s just off the top of my head though. I can take a closer look asap. cheers Johan > On 23 Sep 2015, at 05:35, Chris Muller <[hidden email]> wrote: > >> We are aware that the Seaside website warrants updating. I just joined! > Don’t forget to coordinate with Tobias on that, as he is often taking care of some Squeak-specific issues. Okay. > The Ajax file uploads are in Seaside 3.2 (there is a test case in the jQuery package to demonstrate it). The installation script for Seaside 3.1.2 for Squeak does not include a working JQuery -- the JQuery examples page from the Seaside "welcome" page reports, "/javascript/jquery not found". Obviously this is a configuration issue, do you know what I need to do to solve that? I used the script advertised at seaside.st/download (which redirects to ---> http://squeak.org/projects/#seaside): Metacello new configuration: 'Seaside3'; repository: 'http://www.smalltalkhub.com/mc/Seaside/MetacelloConfigurations/main'; version: #stable; load: 'OneClick'. This is strange, because the packages JQuery-Core and JQuery-UI DID get loaded.. _______________________________________________ seaside mailing list [hidden email] http://lists.squeakfoundation.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/seaside |
Ok, I just stumbled onto the answer to my question..
