Hello everybody.
I have a question: There are many applications written in Smalltalk
that use some form of the application updates via loading new/update
parcels.
Does anyone know of any reliable way to make sure that the parcels came
from the trusted source?
Are there any means to maybe sign and/or encrypt parcels for the
deployment ?
As more and more (one would hope) applications written in VW will appear
the issue will become more urgent.
The state of affair now, "security by obscurity", is totally
unacceptable IMHO.
Any information or any ideas are greatly appreciated.
