Hi,
Is it possible in VW to create a slidehow consisting of several slides that are shown sequentially and starts over again when the last slide has been shown? Each slide will have to be shown in
full screen mode (so no border decorations and such), within each slide it should be possible to use different font types and colours for screen elements (it has to look "good" as in slides are designed by a graphical desiger, though within each individual
slide no animation is required (although it would be great if that is possible too), slides should transition smoothly from one to the other ).
Think of a TFT-screen in a moving vehicle (bus, train) on which location based information is shown. The slide show is dynamic, i.e. depending on the vehicle's position, specific slides should
be shown or not.
Would VW at all be suitable for such an application?
Regards,
Ron

Try looking at Screen Monkey, www.screenmonkey.co.uk. That is free and sounds like it already does what you want - and very well too.

It's certainly possible.
Martin Kobetic normally does his conference presentations in
VisualWorks. I don't think the software he uses is all that polished,
but it works for him. I don't think his starts again after the last
slide, but I'm pretty sure that could be coded without much difficulty
:-)
