We are looking for two senior VA Smalltalk developers with hand-on experience and have worked on VAST migration project as well as 8.X remediation effort. This will be a 6 to 8 month contract in the Southern CA region (Los Angeles or San Diego)
Must have:
Minimum 3 years of VA Smalltalk 7.X or 8.X experience
Understand VAST configuration management; build and deployment
Fluent with Object Oriented Programming
Fluent with communication between Smalltalk clients and CICS / Cobol Mainframe application
Follow Software Engineering best practices (i.e. Source control and documentation)
Understand database interaction
Understand test engineering requirements
Follow Project Management methodology
Nice to have:
IBM CICS
Cobol
