The JAS (nee JWARS) project is a DoD model sponsored and controlled by
the Joint Forces Command (JFCOM) in Norfolk, Va.
Two weeks ago, we were informed that our office in Rosslyn VA, which has
about 32 people, would be closed on May 25th, and a new JAS office of 10
people would be established at JFCOM headquarters 200 miles away in
Norfolk VA. People are stuffing burn bags as I write this.
Few, if any, of the current JAS/JWARS staff are moving to Norfolk
Virginia so they are trying to staff up down there.
I suggest you contact Dawn Chapman at Prosoft (the company I work for)
about what positions they are trying to fill.
You can reach her at 757 431 2400 x 504 or
[hidden email].
The positions will be on site full time and will probably require a
security clearance or the ability to get one, which means US citizenship.
Mention my name if you like; I think there's a t-shirt in it for me. ;-)
