Smalltalkers of the World

ObjectWave

Hello,

I will be Honest, I am a recruiter so my interest may seem biased however working for a Company that was founded as a Smalltalk shop and to this day still remains loyal to object oriented technologies I am curious where all the Smalltalkers are nowadays. I know that Smalltalk is still going strong in production and development in area’s of New York, Georgia, Florida and Omaha. However there seems to be a lack of Smalltalkers active in those areas, at least from my perspective active in the enterprise. So I would like to reach out to as many passionate Smalltalkers as possible and work up a location based demographic to figure out what area’s have the largest population of Smalltalk developers still active. So send me a location if you have the time or if you would like to talk further feel free to give me a call.

Franco,

I suggest that you put it to your clients that they should start
investing in people and train people in Smalltalk.

The graduates I have worked with on Smalltalk projects loved it!  They
found it to be an excellent learning experience that stood them in
good stead no matter what tools they go on to use.

Best regards,
    Bruce

What does it means? Java C# or Smalltalk?

I would suggest you to post on Squeak-dev. I can forward your email
there.

ESUG usually send job offers to his large member group. Now if you
have openings send them to me and I will forward them to the list.
