I have a strange bug too with a fresh image just downloaded
When I create a new method in a class, the shortcut to create a block expression (alt + shift + 5) does not work |
Probably a different one.
In the mid time I got again the same freeze. So it is more frequent than I thought. stef Le 13/3/16 13:52, Thomas Heniart a écrit : > I have a strange bug too with a fresh image just downloaded > > When I create a new method in a class, the shortcut to create a block > expression (alt + shift + 5) does not work |

Are you on Windows? There was a similar report a couple of days ago.

Can’t reproduce with latest image + latest VM on OS X El Capitan with “French” layout. Where did you download the image from? Which VM are you using?
Cheers, Max

I downloaded image from pharo.org, same for the VM (Spur) I just took latest for both and I always have the same problem... In a playground it works fine but not in Nautilus Cheers, Thomas 2016-03-13 17:40 GMT+01:00 Max Leske <[hidden email]>:

Yes, now I see. I was testing in the playground.
While this wont solve your problem, in my case I could use shift + alt + cmd + 5 to enter the square brackets. The problem is that shift + alt + [ is assigned to “previous”. It is a known problem that our shortcuts are not layout agnostic. You can change the binding manually by opening the keymap browser, selecting the entry for “previous”, right clicking on it and selecting “browse definition”. HTH, Max
