Some questions about releases

Hi Instantiations,

Congratulations about this new release, nice work.

I have some questions related with releases.

1) What does it mean when you say support for ubuntu 12 (and others OS)?

2) Does the vm been modified to run into ubuntu?

3) Could you list VM bugs fixed or improved like the list of smalltalk code?

It means that we have successful run our regression test suite on that platform without any unique problem. It also means that we will take a support case if you are running on that platform and discover a problem.
There were no VM changes specifically for Ubuntu 12.04 or Windows 8.
I thought we did, but apparently not. For V8.5.2:

49674: Windows crashes executing Float nan < 0
49682: Location of zoneinfo data should be accessed from .INI file
49712: Extraneous text in [Help] stanza of .INI file
49891: Unix setup script failure when X11 symbolic links created
49901: Must specify -i switch for abt.icx when other parms specified
