New Squeak-Dev and Squeak-Web Image Releases for December

Damien Cassou announces the release of new versions of his configured
images squeak-dev and squeak-web.


Exupery 0.13

Bryce Kampjes announces and new release of the Exupery JIT.



Keith Hodges announces LevelPlayingField to minimize the differences
between different Squeak image versions.


CommandShell 4.2.1

David Lewis announces a new release of CommandShell.


OSProcess 4.3.6

David Lewis publishes a new release of OSProcess.


Hydra VM

Igor Stasenko announces a project to create a multi-threaded VM.


Greeting From Seasons Past

Craig Latta visits PARC and returns with class Alto/Smalltalk images.
Ken Causey places them in a more permanent location.



Alexander Lazarevic provides a fun project to celebrate the New Year.


Logging API

Keith Hodges announces a new Logging API and follows up to mention the
addition of support for SimpleLog from Göran Krampe.


Scratch Source Code

Jens Moenig announces the availability of a pre-release of source code
for the MIT Scratch system.


New Squeak-Dev and Squeak-Web Image Releases for December

Damien Cassou announces the release of new versions of his configured
images squeak-dev and squeak-web.


This periodic publication is meant to capture those Squeak related
announcements which appeared on public mailing lists but were not sent
to the Squeak Announcements mailing list.  Ideally there would be no
need for this publication but use of the Announcements mailing list has
not quite settled in the community's unconscious.  So if you have an
announcement and do not wish to suffer the fate of my terse summaries I
suggest you Cc [hidden email] .
