Squeak crashes after 'data was late' message

Sau Sheong
Hi,

I am encountering a puzzling crash now which I cannot recover still.
I was running Seaside on Squeak 3.8.15beta1U (under Mac OS X) when
suddenly I got a number of 'data was late' message on Transcript and
the entire Squeak environment hung for a while before crashing.
Subsequently some of my other images hangs as well and I couldn't get
it up running again. I'm not sure why this is happening, anyone can
give a clue on how I can resolve it? Surprisingly the images run ok
on my Windows PC.

BTW I couldn't access the main Squeak site (http://www.squeak.org)
either, is it down?

Thanks!

If you have a crash log say ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/Squeak VM
Opt.crash.log
please send it to me.

Re: Squeak crashes after 'data was late' message

Sau Sheong
Thanks John! I don't have this file though. After some tinkering
around and loading this on various systems I realised that it didn't
work on my MacBook Pro most probably because the network in my office
went out. Interestingly the error message when I ran it on a Windows
XP machine said something like 'SqueakMap server not available' or
something, which gave me the tip of the faulty network connection. I
went on to connect to another network and it went through. Somehow
the image I got required me to connect to SqueakMap for something,
which I'm still not sure what it is about.

It's working ok so far, so I'm crossing my fingers. And thanks for
the great work on the Squeak port on Mac OS X!
