Starting VM with image from command line on Mac OSX

Pavel Perikov
Hi anybody.

Is it possible to start VM from command line? When I try to do the
following:

/Applications/vw75nc/bin/macx86/visual.app/Contents/MacOS/visual
visualnc.im

I get the error:

2008-02-21 15:26:10.738 visual[3444:10b] *** Terminating app due to
uncaught exception 'NSInvalidArgumentException', reason: '*** -

In the 7.5 VM you need to give it a bogus -p argument on MacOSX. And you have to get the right executable name that matches the plist or else input won't go to the VW windows. I think in 7.5 that was vwmacxgui.

I would really suggest just waiting for 7.6 or joining vw-dev. It's vastly improved.
