Support for Joomla templates?

Janko Mivšek
Hi,

I'm just adjusting Aida to use Joomla (http://www.joomla.org) templates
(like http://www.joomla24.com, http://www.joomlatemplates.com etc),
which are prepared designs, or if you like skins for Joomla CMS like
websites.

Idea is to use their templates for Aida web sites. You find a joomla
template and convert it to Aida's template. Slowly we could build a
gallery of our own templates (as VW parcels or squeak packages).

My question is, do you find that approach useful for Aida more
generally? Should I continue to prepare a general solution?

Best regards
Janko

I put some notes about how this templating would look like, how to
install a new template, how to prepare it and use on your apps on

        http://www.aidaweb.si/joomla-templates.html

What do you think, is it useful and enough simple?

Best regards
Janko

The process seems to be simple enough.

I hope to find some time to actually try this. But there's lots of
other stuff that needs to be done first.
