The new server is now available to the world: http://file-pharo.inria.fr/
Could you test and tell me if you still encounter slowness and bad CRC?

In addition, could you test this this third server that is hosted on the cloud: http://files2.pharo.org ?
data transfer is still in progress but it should finish in a few hours.

According to your feedbacks, we will switch official URLs to one of these servers.
The situation should be back to normal soon.
