I've completed another tutorial in the 'PersonalMoney Extended' series.
This one revisits binary filing, addressing the versions of the application
that have been developed so far. It steps through building an import/export
facility that transfers textual data in Quicken (qif) format. There's
another "system" type method that's developed, this one helps to find method
definitions using a partial match against the method selector. Last, but
not least, the editable combo box is expanded to search for partial
user-typed entries using Windows messaging.
This one is almost twice as long as any of the others, so be forewarned it
might take longer to download. Part 6 and the others can be reached via
