Twitter Bootstrap

DiegoLont
Hi all,

We want to use twitter bootstrap for our presentation "dry-ing" magritte on ESUG. And we would like the configuration to be updated, so it references the updated Seaside3 configuration and Magritte3 configuration on Smalltalk hub. Can someone give me rights or update this configuration?

Thanks in advance. My login at ss3 is diegolont (all small letters).

Regards,
Diego

what about moving this package to the Pier project on SmalltalkHub
with the other add-ons?

Re: Twitter Bootstrap

That is a good idea, and maybe also conforms better with having the configuration point to smalltalkhub. I will do that.

Cheers,
Diego

Can i browse the code online on smalltalkhub?

Why is ss3 no longer an option?

it is an option and I think it is good we have the choice. Thank you
for maintaining it and experimenting with new versions. I was just
proposing to group all pier-related material under the same repository
as Pier itself.

This is understandable. However, I think TWBS is no more Pier-related
than Magritte-Seaside and SqueakSource3 (as a project), they just use it :).

If it moves, might I please still commit?

I have to admit I have no idea what is the twitter bootstrap package
doing. I just infered it was related to Pier. My mistake.

I don't see why it would move now :-). But I can give you write access
to Pier if you want to. What is your username?

No problem!
The twitter bootstrap package adds some helpers
and importantly css and js files to Seaside to present
a Twitter Bootstrap design (http://web.archive.org/web/20130723172642/http://twitter.github.io/bootstrap/).
  It also has a nice Magritte-integration to make nice
Forms :)

Re: Twitter Bootstrap

DiegoLont
To be honest I was actually going to save it under Magritte, as Twitter Bootstrap is more or less an example project in Magritte. But thanks for the rights, I will change the config on ss3.

Shall I also add it under Magritte, as it is a Magritte project, to keep things together?

No, TWBS can be used without the magritte-part, too.
Look at what you get when installing TwitterBootstrap:
• the TWBS namespace is normal bootstrap integration with Seaside,
  things like Icons, default CSS and js.
• the TWBSMA namespace is the magritte specific stuff.

Looking at the current TWBS Config you find:
        group: 'default' with: #('Twitter-Bootstrap-Libraries' 'Twitter-Bootstrap-Seaside');
        group: 'Magritte' with: #('Twitter-Bootstrap-Magritte' );
        group: 'FontAwesome' with: #('Twitter-Bootstrap-FontAwesome' );
        group: 'Magritte+FontAwesome' with: #('Magritte' 'FontAwesome');
        group: 'Examples' with: #('Twitter-Bootstrap-Examples-Magritte');
        group: 'All' with: #('Magritte' 'FontAwesome' 'Examples');
        yourself.

That is, the base packages, TWBS and FontAwesome do work without magritte
just fine, and it is also the default install; Magritte is opt-in.
