I think we could do with a more structured way of
describing UI suggestions/wants.
Maybe on the issues tracker or a wiki or something
else.
Thoughts invited.

Hi Gary,
I have a little knowledge in UI. However, I am willing to spend a couple of hours to help you. The great work you did warmly deserve it. How can I help? Given that your mail to the list has arrived... I seem to be having problems
with email, specifically my responses not getting though to me (although, looking at Nabble, that's not all). What a pain. Checked the spam folder online and not there either. Was just wondering how to collate any UI issues that arise rather than any immediate help. The focus is not preserved, meaning that I need to hold the moose button without moving for a little while before being able to drag it. But I guess everybody is aware of that. Oddly, I spent some time this AM marveling at how responsive the whole thing has become with the world redraw (or whatever it was) fix. I have the recent dev image with ecompletion and column auto focus off and fast draw enabled, and it's pretty quick "even" with the Vistary theme.
That's on a machine that _should_ be quick, but with XP and loads of anti-malware, it drags a bit.
