Hey, just did an installation and made it to work, though there were several points to remember: * follow close the video instructions * you have to manage services files both under Windows and Linux - otherwise it does not work * connect under Jade against localhost - the ip# of the system is not working * with the normal license file the stone dies after starting - CPUAffinity changes has been noticed and the stone is shut down. running with an unlimited license file is ok. GsDevKit_home does not work - it still does not support 18.04 (this can be corrected), fails when calculating shared memory values (the subsystem does not deliver some numbers under ../kernel/... Even if you install GsDevKit_home, the system compains, that pharo has a wrong exec file format and does not work. the 32bit subsystem has been installed ... I installed and have it running on my laptop earlier this week, by making the same change referenced in the pull. (I realize Marten is talking about Ubuntu on Windows 10 Linux...) > the 32 bit library install is required for Pharo and the that is the fallout > for not having 18.04 in the scripts ... createClient works for Pharo 3. Failed for Pharo 5 and 6, because #close was sent to FileReference which resulted in DNU. Didn't try for Pharo 4. I've opened issue #219. GsDevKit_home is working under Plain Ubuntu 18.04, but it can not be installed out of the box, because it fails when comparing the running OS. Simply patching "installOsPrereqs" and it works. Maren Dale Henrichs via Glass <[hidden email]> hat am 21. September 2018 um 01:36 geschrieben:
