Using Pharo for instrumentation & process control

Hi Ben,

The ML didn't break out Guillermo's topic change into a new thread as I
expected it to, so I'm "manually" starting this as a new one -- unless
there's a better/easier way..??

I'll respond to your message more fully later today (and after I've checked
