The XD Image Loader code has actually been broken since V8.5, but since in V8.5 it wanted to load 8.5.0 maps and the default value of fixpack level (if it's real value isn't found) is '0', everything worked OK. But in V8.5.1 the XD Image Loader's broken code still wants to to load 8.5.0 maps, so it doesn't work so well.
I have attached a patch (a bit different from what will be in V8.5.2) to 2 methods in the AbtServerDevelopmentApp. After the patch is filled in, you need to execute:
AbtServerDevelopmentApp register

With 8.51 I noticed a behaviour I have never seen before.
On my first machine (all Windows 7 based machines) I work with an evolving VA system (mgr85.dat contains: 6.0x up to 8.51 Smalltalk code). When I load the Server Workbench base and create a new passive image, I select no features, press Ok and then the passive image is created. Ok.
On a second machine (Windows 7) I created a totally new 8.5.1 VASmalltalk installation and when I want to create a new passive image and do the same stuff as above additional dialogs are coming up asking me that "zz.Server.AbtBatchFeatureForWS unkown" is not found ... and the same again for "zz.Server.Hidden.AbtbatchHiddenFeature unkown".
Seems for me, that the passive image builder looks for special versions of this maps which are not included in a new 8.5.1 manager dat.
