For those VW users who are interested in trying Seaside 2.8 out, I
ported the very latest version. See ftp://ftp.bany.fr/seaside/Seaside%202.8a1-378.zip. Feedback is welcome. Enjoy, Michel. _______________________________________________ Seaside mailing list [hidden email] http://lists.squeakfoundation.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/seaside |
Michel,
Any plans to push this to Public Repository as well? Our prereq chains are all set up for pundles that we replicate from there into our local DB. I'd love to give it a whirl. I believe that Seaside 2.8 will cause regressions when combined with the various Seaside add-ons, demos and examples that are available in the public repository (Async, Scriptaculous, ShoreComponents, Testing, etc.). My idea was to try everything out before publishing and to get feedback from those who would try the preview parcels. > I'd love to give it a whirl. Why not use the preview parcels for this ? I could, but it would take some effort, as I would need to switch the
prerequisite lookup to search parcels first to load Seaside yet make sure that all other stuff still gets loaded from store. I might just wait, as I suspect I won't have that much time to play with it in the next couple of weeks.
