VW 64 bit and COM in MS Windows

Now that 64 bit VM for Windows is in preview, does it work with COM Connect in 64 bit?

Aik-Siong,

COM is not supported in current 64 bit Windows version and it is not
working. Support has been scheduled and we hope to have it available with
the next version.

lk_News_2012-Thomas.pdf slide 21 it will be there in the next release 7.9
which can be expected soon.
