VW support for IPv6?

It is not in current versions, but is being actively worked on, and is a priority. I'd hope that that means it will be supported in the release following 7.8, but plans aren't finalized and I wouldn't want to publicly commit to it quite yet.

Hi,

 

One of our customers asks whether our software is compliant with ipv6 and if it isn't asks about a roadmap for implementing this.

 

Some information:

 

We use an oracle client dll to connect to an oracle db. According to oracle, their release 11gR2 is ipv6 compliant so I don't see any problems here.

 

We also have some soap clients and servers though and from what I can see in the image, the class SocketAddress only supports ipv4 addresses. I expect some problems here.

 

So, is ipv6 supported? And if not, (when) will it be?
