[VW7.5] [Mac OS X] [PPC] Mouse movement required?

|  This is a strange one, I'm finding that more often than not, the system
|  will start ok, but will get "stuck", until I move the mouse.

|  I'm presenting my own custom built herald window during start up, but
|  this doesn't get presented until the mouse is moved.

  I have seen a similar phenomenon, but it doesn't seem to be related
to mouse movement. Here, VW starts up (I see the icon appearing in
the task bar), but no splash window appears. It does come up after
some waiting though, and that waiting time can be 10 to 30 seconds.

  This happens with 7.4 too, so it's not a recent thing.
