VW7.7.1 -- out-of-memory from VM ...

Dennis smith-4
We are just working on moving from VW7.7 to 7.7.1 -- with Gemstone code
installed.

We keep seeing a VM dialog
     Out of Memory - mmScavange.c:2427
Seems to occur write after saving the image -- not all the time, just
sometimes.

Originally the memory-policy was a Gemstone policy -- so I replaced that
with
LargeGrainMemoryPolicy -- same result -- every few saves - out-of-memory and
the image aborts.

I then tried the basic "MemoryPolicy" -- that was better but I still get
the out-of-memory sometimes.

I will take this to cincom as a case but I want to do a bit more work
first -- so I thought I would just
ask if this is a problem others have seen or not???

Please run the VM with the -xq switch and send me the stack.txt file
that occurs as a result of the crash.
