I'm trying to use SQL Anywhere from Sybase running on XP 64 together with
VWNC 7.7 - but VWNC seems not to be able to find the CT-Libs ? Any suggestions ? _______________________________________________ vwnc mailing list [hidden email] http://lists.cs.uiuc.edu/mailman/listinfo/vwnc |
On XP 64 I expect that you may will be using 64-bit
libraries by default, and would need to configure it for 32-bit
access.

Is VWNC7.7 not 64 bit ? I just checked, and indeed it is installed under Program Files (x86) indicating 32 bit operation. Any suggestions ? Maybe running 32bit server of SQL Anywhere ? _______________________________________________ vwnc mailing list [hidden email] http://lists.cs.uiuc.edu/mailman/listinfo/vwnc |
Deqar Herman,
a couple of thoughts: - you need to use the 32-bit libraries - which are the client libraries for SQL Anywhere. As far as I understand SQL Anywhere isn't the same as the Adaptive Server for which we provide the CT interface. If they don't share the same client libraries at least a custom EXDI would have to be generated for SQL Anywhere - is ODBC an alternative?
