I really don't know anybody else in town using Seaside other than folks from
Smallthought, but if there are more of us out there, I wouldn't mind organizing a meet-up of some sorts to catch up and have a beer (tea/coffee/milk/water/pepsi) or two. Ping me if you're in the area and we'll see how many people we can find. Good idea. Even if there's nobody else, there are enough of us between Deep Cove and Smallthought to go through a couple of pitchers of Granville Island Lager ;) I suggest Smallthought's new office above the Stamps Landing Pub as a locale, any time after August 15. Would Friday, August 18 work for everybody there? Heck, we could even expand
the scope to non-Seaside Smalltalkers. As sad as it may sound, there aren't that many of our kind left, so any pub should work just fine ;) Cheers! -Boris -- +1.604.689.0322 DeepCove Labs Ltd. 4th floor 595 Howe Street Vancouver, Canada V6C 2T5 [hidden email] CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE This email is intended only for the persons named in the message header. It might just be possible for John McI & I to make it someday but now that the HarbourLynx is no more a trip to Vancouver is quite a slog. Mind you, since OOPSLA is in portland this year (october 22-26) it might be possible to combine the two. tim -- tim Rowledge; [hidden email]; http://www.rowledge.org/tim Strange OpCodes: PWB: Put to Waste Basket _______________________________________________ Seaside mailing list [hidden email] http://lists.squeakfoundation.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/seaside |
