ViewComposer & LayourManagers

Davorin Rusevljan-2
Hi, it is nothing terribly important, but when choosing a layout manager in
view composer, why are not all managers offered (for instance shield one is
not)?

Is it by design or, it is just a small leftover?

It is deliberate. Some layout managers are considered "specialized", and
therefore not applicable in all cases. See the definitions/references of
#applicableLayoutManagerCategories to see how the decision is made.
