Runar,
Yes, Cincom has started investigating this as Arden Thomas, Cincom Smalltalk
Product Manager, mentioned this in his presentation at STIC - Smalltalk
Industry Conference in Biloxi
(
http://www.stic.st/wp-content/conferences/2012/Wednesday/1030-Cincom_Smalltalk_News_2012-Thomas.pdf, Slide 24).
>From what I have heard, it is not so easy.

Betreff: [vwnc] VisualWorks and Windows 8 Metro Applications
Has anyone looked at how hard it would be to use VisualWorks to create a
Windows Runtime (WinRT) application? If this could be done, VisualWorks
could make Windows 8 Metro-style applications, and not only desktop-based
applications.
My (limited) understanding is that Windows Runtime is more open for
interfacing from non-managed applications than .NET frameworks, like WPF,
are.
