Hello,
I now following the Walk-Trought tutorial. I have made a hello, img. According to the manual I could run it by double-click, But my Windows 7 box I see a message that Windows do no know which programm to use. Second problem., I try to make it a single package. but for me out of the blue they talk about this: Using the tools provided by Windows, make a copy of the executable file (visual.exe). Then, rename the copy to hello.exe, so that the name is the same as for the image file. Copy or move both the executable and the image files in the same directory. It doesn’t matter which directory. Now simply run the executable but where is stated how I can make the file visual.exe ? the visual.exe is in c:\Program files (x86)\Cincom\vw7.10\bin\win. Depending on the VisualWorks version you’ve installed vw7.10 can be different, just pick the one you’re using. Kind Regards Karsten

Dear Roelof,
if you associate the .im fileType to the c:\Program files (x86)\Cincom\vw7.10\bin\win\VisualWorks.exe then when you double-click, e.g. hello.im then it will use the co-located VisualWorks.ini file to map the image you double-clicked to the appropriate .exe. I'm guessing you do not have the .im file-type mapped (unless what you actually wrote - 'hello, img' - was not a typo but you actually had file-extension .img instead of .im in which case it would not be recognised).
