WalkThru error message

Roelof Wobben
Hello,

Im at the point that I have to change the namespace.

But when I change the defenition to this :

Smalltalk defineNameSpace: #Walkthru
     private: false
     imports: 'private Smalltalk .* '
     category: 'Tutorial-Walkthr '

I get a syntax error in the proposed path name.

What went wrong here ?

Roelof

Re: WalkThru error message

Holger Guhl
The problem is in the imports declaration. You need to remove the space between "Smalltalk" and the
period.

Thanks,

I changed it to this and now it accepted:

Smalltalk defineNameSpace: #Walkthru
     private: false
     imports: '
             private smalltalk.*
             '
     category: 'Tutorial-Walkthru'

but I ran into another problem.

I can change to this :

initialize
    "Create the initial random number generator for this application"

      myRandom := Random new.

But then I see a message :

Declare Random as

Roelof
