Hi!
I would like to create a webpage that lists papers about Pharo. There were some announcements on [hidden email], but it is not really useful for me to keep track of what's going on. Maybe a page accessible from http://www.pharo-project.org/about/success-stories or http://www.pharo-project.org/about/ will be good. If the community agrees on this, I am willing to lead this effort. Opinion? Cheers, Alexandre -- _,.;:~^~:;._,.;:~^~:;._,.;:~^~:;._,.;:~^~:;._,.;: Alexandre Bergel http://www.bergel.eu ^~:;._,.;:~^~:;._,.;:~^~:;._,.;:~^~:;._,.;:~^~:;. _______________________________________________ Pharo-project mailing list [hidden email] http://lists.gforge.inria.fr/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pharo-project |

I liked http://pharo-project.org/about/research better, but I guess that's just me :)
To me, it belongs more with mission description and success stories than tutorials and screencasts. Why not rather all Smalltalk research page instead? Or website, like
http://research.world.st? I think our community is too small to divide it even further and research is something which is by definition wide open. So, as we have thanks to Mariano now all Smalltalk research mailing list, let we have all Smalltalk research website too! Because I'm prety sure that researchers working on Pharo want to influence other Smalltalks with your results as well. Posting results on Smalltalk-wide website will surely have much more impact than posting only on Pharo website. Not to mention that researchers using other Smalltalks will have a chance to inspire Pharoers as well. guys
all my papers are using Smalltalk (visualworks, squeak mainly so far) as a research vehicule. You can use them to do marketing around smalltalk because there are good papers in prestigious venues. Please do not have the time. Now pharo has the right to mention the papers using pharo on the pharo web site. Stef On Sep 25, 2010, at 12:20 AM, Sean P.
