XD image Transcript shows wrong window title in Unity

Hi,

this is a minor bug (even that many be an exaggeration ;-) ), but it can confuse users of VAST on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS.

In an XD image the menu displays the XD Transcript's window title instead of the default window title in the menu bar. The window's title is okay, just the title that gets displayed on the menu bar at the top of the screen. You can switch between the active and passive image as much as you want, the menu always displays the passive image's Transcript window title. (ex: XD Transcript [Headless Unix]).

Please see attached a little Screenshot. The menu title should be "System Transcript", not "XD Transcript [Headless Kontolino]"...

Hello Joachim,

I just tested it and on my Ubuntu 12.04 it just the other way round: "System Transcript" is always on the MenuBar ...

Hi Marten,

so I suspect it's the title of the Transcript window that was open when VAST was started. In my case it may by I saved with the XD image activated...

I imagine that the window title starts out being correct; switches to XD Transcript when you switch to the XD image; then is stuck on XD Transcript. Is that correct?

John,

I just tried and it is always the title of the Transcript Window that was opened when the image came up.

So if the image was saved with the "normal" Transcript open, it will remain "System Transcript" even if switched to the XD image.
