abergel
Hi!

Zoom - in and out does not work anymore in the moose panel.
Anyone has a way to fix this?

Alexandre

I have the impression that the Moose Panel is obsolete. There is no reason to have it if we have GTInspector…

How can you load a Moosemodel and navigate it within GTInspector?
How can we generate a MooseModel from GTInspector?
Can we access all the visu available in the moose panel from GT?
According to me Moose Panel is NOT obsolete.

Re: Zooming in and out in a Moose panel

How can you load a Moosemodel and navigate it within GTInspector?

You cannot load a moose model within GT.

How can we generate a MooseModel from GTInspector?

I am using the moose panel for puntual needs, not really as a fancy way to browse and navigate. GT does it better in my opinion.

Can we access all the visu available in the moose panel from GT?

Yes. Completely.
Assuming you have already one model, try inspect:
MooseModel root anyOne allModelClasses

And zooming works well

According to me Moose Panel is NOT obsolete.

The truth is that I often spend little time in the moose panel. Several visualizations do not work (e.g., visualizations when you browse namespaces), or do not say much (e.g., What are the colors in Class blueprint already? What is the nesting relation in the System nesting map?)

I am not saying we should remove MoosePanel. What I am saying, is that MoosePanel has so many problems, that it is painful to use and maintain (e.g., who want to fix the zooming problem? It is a very important).

OK, so sorry for my misunderstanding. I agree, Moose Panel is obsolete, but we need to be able to generate easily moose model.

I don’t understand why the visualizations are available and work well in GT and not in the Moose Panel. Normally, it should be the same visu that are called from different ways.
Is there redondant code?

It is not obsolete at all.

Exactly :)

I think the problem is only with some visualizations.

How is this a problem of the Moose Panel?

I do not understand what you mean. What problems?

The Moose Panel is nothing but a slightly more specific inspector.

Hi,

I am looking into this problem and I do not understand where it comes from. It looks like only in the MooseFinder only the roassalView that is in the action is an empty object. Strange.
