accessing the current url

sergio_101-2
i am looking at writing a component that would allow you to insert a
facebook 'like' button on:

- each blog entry, without having to add it manually.. it would just
appear as part of the content..
- only the pages that it would makes sense on..

in order to get that, i would have to have access to the current url..

how would i go about that in pier?

thanks!
