arbitraryprecisionfloat

werner kassens-2
Hi Serge,
i uploaded a new arbitraryprecisionfloat & arbitraryprecisionfloattests. i noticed that it is not visible since the development version is stuck on an old version, which i of course dont want to change. which procedure is appropriate?

mhm, yes, normally no problem, i would of course also include your dhb.69. but at the moment it is not yet clear to me, what went wrong there, i just glanced over the changes, but it seems to me that something went wrong somewhere within the last changes between dhb.69 and 57 in the context of Stephane's reconstruction & moving objects from one package to another.
perhaps im wrong, i will have later in the evening a look. perhaps you will have a look too.

Re: arbitraryprecisionfloat

Hi Stephane,
i uploaded ArbitraryPrecisionFloatTests-WernerKassens.22 and ArbitraryPrecisionFloat-WernerKassens.53 .there should be no problems with those. but when i looked at Math-DHB-Numerical-SergeStinckwich.69 and Math-DHB-Numerical-StephaneDucasse.57 i got the impression that something was reversed. i think this could happen if something from the inbox was not correctly _merged_ (simply loaded). eg Math-DHB-Numerical-MobiusEng.56 was uploaded at a later date than Math-DHB-Numerical-StephaneDucasse.57 (looking at polymath/polymath/commits).

Hi Stephane,
i just checked the dhb related packages and i think now everything is correct there, if the config will be updated according to the changes with the additional packages. at my first look i had not seen those additional packages.

i noticed also that you moved realinterval over there. for it to work one would need to also move over
Math-RealIntervalCompatibility-WernerKassens.4
ConfigurationOfRealInterval-WernerKassens.29
Math-Benchmarks-RealInterval-WernerKassens.2
Math-Tests-RealInterval-Compatibility-WernerKassens.22
