Hello,
I hope I can end this tutorial today, Now I wonder what can be the next logical step. I have looked at the developers guide but I miss there exercises. So I found these alternatives : - This book : http://www.onlineprogrammingbooks.com/inside-smalltalk-volume-one/ - this tutorial : http://squeak.preeminent.org/tut2007/html/ What do you experts think is the best step. Or do you have a better alternative where there are a lot of exercises so I can check if I understand it all. It gave me a nice excuse to learn the libraries and had the added benefit that I would receive corrections and additions - something one usually does not get when studying solo. Furthermore these excercises were not academic, questions posted here usually pertain to real-world situations one encounters when working with VW. Enjoy! I think a lot of the gui can be made with it. The only thing I have to figure out how to make the grid. Maybe if I have figured all things out I can make a tutorial myself as a exercise, Roelof _______________________________________________ vwnc mailing list [hidden email] http://lists.cs.uiuc.edu/mailman/listinfo/vwnc |
When learning a new language or product, the best thing i found was to create a project of my own choosing and then see it through. Pick something you find interesting and then run with it.
