colors for syntax highlighting

Tudor Girba
Hi,

I am trying to find studies regarding the choice of colors for syntax highlighting. Does anyone know any publications in this area?

Cheers,
Doru

Re: colors for syntax highlighting

Tudor Girba
For text highlighting in general, and Smalltalk in particular. I am interested in studies in what colors work together for the human eye.

Re: colors for syntax highlighting

Stéphane Ducasse
I would be interested too because there are some colors I do not like or even distinguish.
On my mac I always change the selection to light orange because I do not see the light blue.
