I recently resumed making libffi releases. In Fedora, somebody recently patched GNU Smalltalk to use the system's libffi package. I think, however, that it was probably a hack. It would be nice if the upstream project provided a configuration option to use the system's pre-installed libffi. Thanks! _______________________________________________ help-smalltalk mailing list [hidden email] http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/help-smalltalk |

Thomas, can you send me the patch you use to select the system libsigsegv and (IIRC) libffi? That's also a quick hack. I will try to provide a better patch later. _______________________________________________ help-smalltalk mailing list [hidden email] http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/help-smalltalk |

Can you test it with configure flags --with-system-libffi --with-system-libsigsegv? (regenerated files are not included in the patch) _______________________________________________ help-smalltalk mailing list [hidden email] http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/help-smalltalk |
