http/2 support

thomas....@natural-software.eu
Hello

We would like to send Apple APNS messages to iOS devices. Unfortunately, Apple requires the usage of http/2 for these requests.

https://developer.apple.com/library/ios/documentation/NetworkingInternet/Conceptual/RemoteNotificationsPG/Chapters/APNsProviderAPI.html#//apple_ref/doc/uid/TP40008194-CH101-SW1

Are there any plans on supporting http/2 in VA/Smalltalk?

Kind regards

Thomas

Re: http/2 support

Seth Berman
Hello Thomas,

Yes, http/2 is on our radar and we have done some preliminary research to see what would be involved.
After the release of 8.6.3 this fall, we will be looking at it in-depth for LOE and scheduling purposes.

Regards,
