ie6 and xhtml

keith1y
I am really struggling to make a css layout that works across browsers.
In fact I cant see any way of doing it.

I have just been told the following:

JDigital: keithy: get rid of the XML prolog
JDigital: It throws IE out of standards mode

Is this the case?

Any ideas or tips would be appreciated

many thanks in advance

Keith
