I am first waiting for it to be finished. Mathieu? Do you consider the layout complete? Can we do a pass on it?

Graphviz is faster for similar graph complexity, but the current one is already usable. It's not unreasonably slow like it used to be.

Yes the new force based layout is finished.

Of course every code can be improved again and again, but it's usable.
