I welcome the work on the repacking.
Debugging and fixing the configurations may be quite a lot of work. Especially since tools are missing. One think that should probably work, is to produce a gofer script for at a given moment in time. Not really the best solution since it completely by-pass Metacello, but it is a practical and feasible solution.
